Easy switch between monitor and internal recording??

Recording in the Ninja Inferno from the DVX200 looks great, but there are times I will need to switch back to internal SD card recording in the DVX quickly (as I will need to swap out the Inferno to another camera). What is the quickest & easiest way to do this? If possible I do not want to go back into the menu & make all of the changes required to trigger Inferno recording using a User Button (as seems to be required). Much of my recording is run & gun stuff on the fly, including on a boat, so the quickest, shortest and simplest way to do this is a huge help - any suggestions? (sensible please...).
 
I have been using a PIX-E5 recorder and I output DVI from my DVX into it and record simultaneously to SD cards in the DVX and to the PIX-E5. Could you do the same? That way there is no switching or setting changes necessary.

Is it the case that if outputting 10-bit to a recorder it's not possible to simultaneously record to SD?
