Earliest version of Premiere Pro for p2

Hi,
I work with Mac only, but I have a client who wants HD footage shot so he can edit it himself. I don't think he knows much about it but he has Adobe Premiere Pro. I said I'd shoot for him and give him the files if we could make sure it was compatible. What is the earliest version of Premiere that can support p2 footage? Is there anything different from a Mac that I'd have to watch out for?

None, Premiere does not support P2 at all. On the PC you can add support for P2/MXF using Raylight, but it doesn't work with the Mac.

The context of this thread is FCP not Premiere however. Anyone know if Raylight would work with both FCP and Premiere on a Mac?

FCP already handles P2/MXF. Raylight currently is Windows-only.

I think, but am not certain, that Premiere Pro 1.5 won't support HD at all, even with Raylight.

I know that we have 2.0, and once Raylight is installed, HD support (ability to edit MXF files) is both flawless and painless to use.
