On a small reception last weekend I was transmitting over an SDI cable and a blackmagic converter (SDI to HDMI) to a beamer.
The quality of the outcoming signal was really bad (colors completely insane redish and green) but considered this to be due to the cable and many converters and beamer ...
After 30 minutes I got the FS7 flashing red and displaying an error E91-350 and E95-315 and neither SDI nor HMDI were working any longer. Luckily the job was done and
because it was really dark in the audience nobody complained about the colors.
At home I tested it all with a different camera PXW-Z100 and the connection is fine and the final HDMI picture ist perfect (so blackmagic converter is ok).
I could not find anywhere a list of error codes for the FS7 (why - is this a secret???) but found a thread for a F5 where these codes were related to a defect HD-SDI board?
Can anyone explain what these errors are - is there anything to avoid them?
I did a complete reset but the problem remains - I will give the camera to a Service Point but my trust on the reliability of the camera is reduced.
What if that happens on a major assignment - will cost me the actual customer and many others...
Many thanks for any hints
