I dont care about cameras. I dont. Really. Not a fan boy. I actually dislike GH4 more or less.

In any case you were just bluntly repeating one and the same thing. And then gave a link that actually contradicted you.

Yeah GH4 has 11 usable stops if you arent to careful and diligent and if you dont use noise reduction, etc.

Yeah except using noise reduction is not a normal function of the camera and not something that should be expected to do. This is kind of silly debating about 11 stops vs 12 stops. This is really splitting hairs at this point. 99% of the world really doesn't care and no person ever watching anything produced on the GH4 is going to be looking at that. If one can somehow grunt out an extra stop though image manipulation (either in camera or in post) good for them.

Here is my suggestion to everybody. Stop treating a $1,500.00 camera like a $20,000.00 camera and lets get back to reality. The GH4 has a very nice picture for $1,500.00 and can even compete against cameras that cost a lot more than that if you use care and planning. I love the GH4 because it spanks most other options in this price range and even holds its own compared to cameras that do cost a lot more. Of course it has limitations, you didn't have to sell a kidney on the black market to buy it. Blackmagic, Sony and Canon have limitations as well. Pick your poison.

Let us not forget the results of the 2012 shootout where the GH2 was picked over much more expensive cameras with higher resolution.

And rightly so, the majority picked "No Favorite".

Hence... Pick the right tool for the job at hand.
