If I highlight a clip, and send it to AE ("Replace With After Effects Composition"), it opens it in AE. Great. But it takes that footage, and pre-comps it into another comp. I don't need that. I need that footage in the linked comp, not calling another comp. The pre comp has the entire clip that smaller clip is taken from. That's a pain in the butt for things like warp stabilizer or other intensive effects. I don't want to apply the effect on the whole shot, just the smaller clip. Why is this happening? It just started doing this about a month ago to my knowledge. I was on CC 2014. Now I'm on CC 2015. Both do it. It drives me crazy. Am I going to have to look through the trash for Automatic Duck?
