dxv100b no sound when streaming via firewire

[yuvalony]

Hello,

I tried connecting my DVX100b to my laptop (winXP) with a firewire and streaming it
with ustream.com. I can see the video, but get no sound.
Tried connecting the with a usb-rca converter - get no Video.
Tried connecting with firewire and only the sound with the usb-rca converter - get no sound.
Help?

If you connect the cam to the computer via the firewire and are able to capture both video and sound, then I'd say the problem lies in the ustream settings.

are your audio levels on the dvx itself turned on?
bottom right knobs on the left face of the camera.

Make sure the audio settings on ustream are set to "DV Audio"
