That means that each and every one of us has contributed to the value of this site... except UGAfan, he actually drove the value down a little. But it also means we deserve a share of that... I wants my internet money!

And according to the site Jason posted, my site is worth some $14,000. It is currently available for a quick cash sale... :)

My site is only worth $2K. What a rip. Although, I only paid like a hundred bucks for the flash template, so I guess that is not too bad.
 
Hm. I just went there and it said DVXUser was worth $1,365,496.09 so I'm assuming Jarred just made a lot of money. But www.tcmech.com is worth $7,256.62. Hm. That's just not the same. Then again Facebook is worth $11,049,969,144.35.

i think one of the big factors is age of domain... my site has nothing and is worth over 9k... i wish...

So are we gonna someday see people investing in online domains not unlike they do now with real estate? Just one more potential financial bubble to blow up until it bursts.
 
People already do this. There are companies that buy web domains based on the fact that someone is searching them. That's why I never search a domain name until I'm ready to buy. Someone else can buy it from under you (or lock it down for awhile) then sale it to you at a hire price.

And those people are internet hosting companies. There are several that are notorious for that practice.
 
mine is worth $1,150.15, and it costed me 0$ (minus hosting expenses)... my site is up for sale anyone that wants it just shoot me a pm.......
 
Bizarre. It says this site I always go to, deviantart.com is worth 20 million. Ha! I'm sure that the owner would sell it in a minute if it was actually worth that much. Where do they get these values? Is deviantart.com actually pulling in 23K per month?! That's crazy...
