DVXuser Member Count

Just thought I'd bring to everyone's attention that the 32,000th registered user, joined DVXuser.com today...

That's pretty impressive.

FYI

we'll have about 4 months, 13 days, and 8 hours worth of material to watch.

And if you also count the review progress (3 times each film) you would end up with at least a year of dvxuser Lovefeast. People would really get annoyed and break up their relationships:thumbsup:.

If everyone posts at the same time, we'd have 32,000 posts and a very slow server..

Ok..

No I killed it.

If everyone can send me 1 floppy disc, I can get a free 32GB card.

That's how it works, right?

EDIT: Holy cow, that's a lot of discs! Talk about technological progress...

what does dvx stand for?

If we each chip in only $2, we can buy a fully kitted Red One. We can keep it at my house.

How bout since a lot of these registered users probably aren't frequenters, we get half of us to send in $4?

Now someone just come up with a "rights of use" contract that suits 16,000 of us, and we're all set:cheesy:

That's easy - we each get it for a one day shoot.
Once you use it, you go back to the bottom of the list and get it again for one day when your turn comes up .... 43.8 years later.
:)

out of 32,000 people, i keep seeing the same 15 or so. what gives? :cheesy:

Well - I'm convinced Jeremy, Hudson, and Barry are actually not individuals...but a 'DVXuser co-op' made up of about 10,000 users. That's the only explanation for their number of posts.
:)

Erm, Killfilm.... it should be 32000 bit processing

if 3 DVXuser gave a bit:

(3bit Processing)
2^3 = 8

(32bit Processing)
if 32 DVXuser gave a bit:

2^3 = 4 294 967 296

if 320 DVXuser gave a bit:

(320bit Processing)
2^320 = 2.13598704 × 10^96

if 32000 DVXuser gave a bit:

(32000bit Processing)
2^32000 = Number to big to calculate (a number bigger than the number of atoms in the universe(probably))

I was also shocked to hear that

'Once you use it, you go back to the bottom of the list and get it again for one day when your turn comes up .... 43.8 years later.'

He's right, after 3 minutes of trying to work out the maths.
