Sorry to get your attention on this HVX place, but I cant get it at work with the Firefox 1.5 browser. ( it works, but I cant post messages, I do not see the Quote and Reply buttons...)

99% websites ARE compatible with Firefox and Dvxuser was. Whatts Up?

(PCwindows XP Firefox 1.5)

Well I am on IE now, (to post messages)and until today everything WAS working on Firefox 1.5 but not any more. You are on version 1.5?

There is a problem with Javascript, I do not see Smileys and things like that in Firefox.

Try flushing your Cache in Firefox. I know it sounds lame but I am in IT and these stupid solutions work more often than you would think. If you have already done this then disregard this as more useless information.

Did that, but the result are the same ,there are more problems. It says this tread has 1.243 inputs... I give it a day, it has something to do with the new server and maybe just the cache to Europe is outdated?

( just with dvxuser.com http://www.dvinfo.net/ is working fine)

I also see a strange message in the reply box, I can´t remember seeing that before:

"Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply."

We all get that now. That's a new "feature" in the latest server upgrade. Hopefully one that Jarred will rectify when he gets a chance.

I found it! Before it was possible to work (you see the quote/reply buttons) with the Tools/Options/Content/ Load images/ Exceptions= block images from dvxuser.com

Now you have to give permission to load images. ( no exception fo this site)

It works again. But there was a difference.

Yeah, I've noticed several changes here -- I assume that Jarred has been upgrading whatever forum software he's using.

I'm also using 1.5, and it works fine (though 1.5 is buggier than the previous FF version).

It actually was more a physical server change, I upgraded the hardware of the site.. so i had to turn some things down, and the site died for a very short time there.. when most of you where sleeping.

everything is back up though now, so we are looking good.
