dvxuser battery..

so my dvx came with 5400mAh battery.. and doesn't last me that long..
maybe like an hour. so i picked up the DVXuser battery.. and pretty much same thing. something wrong with my camcorder?? i thought they suppose to last alot longer..

Ya, something wrong there mate. I ordered a dvx battery as a back up for a wedding gig and filmed 7.5 hrs of footage on only one battery (viewfinder magic). Still had lots of charge on that battery as well. Can't remember which one I used that day though, stock or the dvx batt. but both have never let me down and just keep on going.
 
I haven't had a problem with either the battery that came with my dvx and the dvxuser battery. I'm guessing there's a problem in the wiring causing it to drain the battery.

i just tested out dvxuser battery, i turned it on around 10:30am and left it on.. i did 30 min of video capture on battery during.. and battery was flashing around 3pm so its gooood!
