thanx man for hooking me up with some webspace,

I know it's hard to maintain servers and stuff technically and financially

I can send u some money



Honestly I think we all (dvxhost users) should help

Thanks unix, i aprecaite your support, i am going to attempt to start a pay service (super fair pricing that ill announce as soon as i do all my math so i can cover myself) also, i will be offering (once i get enough paid) free hosting which will be slightly downgraded as to what i have been offering due to the fact i have a $333/month car payment, a $250/month server payment and soon to come a $400 living expense/month. Ill keep you all posted, thanks to all dvx users for thier support!
 
Here are the plans that i have worked out. If for some reason a certain dvxuser cannot afford a perticular plan, as many of you with the service know, i am a human and i do care about indavidual instances.

plans:

1. $2.50/month - 250MB storage - unrestricted file types - free subdomain of dvxhost.com - 8gb transfer/month

2. $4/month - 350mb storage - 250mb of un compressed media files allowed - free subdomain of dvxhost.com - 10gb transfer/month

3. $5/month 550mb of storage - 400mb of uncompressed media files allowed - free subdomain of dvxhost.com - 10gb transfer/month

4. $35/year (upfront payment) - 25GB storage - 2.5GB of uncompressed media files allowed - Free subdomain and option to park your own domain FREE.

*note: "uncompressed media" is file's allowed in raw streamable formats such as but not limited to mpg/mov/avi/wmv/mp3/wav/aac. Since streaming files uses up the servers CPU i am encouraging and restricting users to use .zip/.rar/.tar to compress thier videos for download that way the servers cpu is not in use.

Hope this pricing looks fair, if it doesnt, let me know. I want this to be as fair of a service as possible. The only reason i am charging is to cover my person expenses with the server.
 
Prices are as fair as they get! Thanks alot! I didnt know they had servers in the north pole either :) :)

I encourage everyone to sign up, if you cant afford the 5 bucks a month, then all you have to do is take 1 trip to starbucks out of your month and there ya go! :)

thanks for the positive feedback cynic. I apreciate it. Glad people understand im not out to make a profit and rip people off. lol. If i can get 10 people paying $3/month midway through the year i can get another server, divide the load, up the features and perhaps even offer some sort of free service again. :p (if my crappy math tactics work right) lol
