Re: DVX200 Wish List - graphics overlay
I dont own a DVX100 so this feature might allready be there.
I would like a 'graphics overlay' at the evf/lcd thats make it possible to 'upload' a graphics from your computer to the camcorder with lets say the screen graphic your going to use in post like display of names, locations, infoboxes etc. This feature would make it possible to review your footage acording to your screen graphics before/while shooting it.
Furthermore you could expand the feature to do the same with videoclips or 'snapshots' of frames without using a computer. Lets say you just shot some footage then you rewind to a frame and convert it to a 'snapshot'. now you can recall the frame later on and apply it as 'graphics overlay' and adjust your framing, zoom etc acording to the 'graphics overlay'.

Selectable safety zone overlay would be nice. 16x9, 14x9, 4x3. Also a viewfinder or LCD that shows you the whole underscanned image your recording to tape.
