DVX200 Live Streaming Capabilities

Hi Guys. DVX200 user from Singapore.
Would just like to check if any of you guys had tried Live Streaming an event from the DVX200 to either YouTube or Facebook. Have got an event coming up and this is the client requirements and I am quite lost in Live Streaming workflow

There is no provision in the camera for live streaming. You'd need whatever hardware you'd need for any other camera, to take the SDI or HDMI output (or composite AV out) and stream that.

I used my DVX200 to live stream some HS graduation ceremonies last year. The streaming was done from free software on my iMac, the DVX200 was connected via a Blackmagic device that converted SDI to Lightning. The streaming service was YouTube. It worked just fine. Streaming internally from the camera? Like, it was a promised feature? Never happened.

At work, we use the DVX200 to stream to Facebook sometimes. We use the aja u-tap, and connects the camera to that via sdi and the connect the utap to the computer by HDMI. Then the computer (mac) sees it as a webcam, and we can stream the image :)

Best regards
Ulrik

I've tested some live streaming on the DVX200 using a consumer Elgato HD60 Pro (contradictory name there) to capture the HDMI and then something less 'game' related like VMix or OBS. Both worked very nicely at 1080p 60fps.

Here is a new wrinkle. I want to shoot a party/event with my DVX200. I'll get an audio feed from the board. I want to live stream 20 minutes of opening remarks over an iPhone. I am told no WIFI will be available so its cellular . How can I do this?
