DVX200 iPad Remote App

Has anyone used this app with their Ipad? Was wondering how user friendly and useful it is. I'm positive I would use it if it were able to output video to the Ipad while shooting. I don't think it offers that feature yet (maybe in an update) The similar (Panasonic image app) has been a fantastic tool for me on my GH4. When shooting an interview or even shooting b-roll by myself, I can tweak the lighting while holding the tablet in my hand a see what I'm doing live. No more adjusting a light then running over to the monitor to see if the adjustment was ok. If any of you use the GH4 and have a tablet, I recommend installing that app and using it, its fantastic. Back to the DVX200 ROP, any info or user thoughts on it would be appreciated. Still thinking about getting it.

It's user friendly once you get the ipad to connect to the DVX200. There is no live view at this time. It's good if the camera needs to be locked down and you want a larger screen to manipulate the variables.

From my point of view the ROP is originally programmed for the AJ-PX5000 / AJ-PX270. That's may be the problem for not smooth operation with the DVX-200 (remember the password problem...). Moreover the original Panasonic WiFi Stick is no longer available (accordind to the website) and from ASUS only the old one works. So it needs to be reprogrammed.
Moreover another backdraw ist that it works ONLY with Apple. So approx. 80% of Pad-user (Android / Windows) can not use the ROP !!!

this point is very narrow down the options of the remote control
should support multiple devices
but they do not know the developers this....
