Hey all,
I'm on a shoot at the moments filming heavy machines in quarries and Plants for 3 weeks with my new DVX200. The camera definitely has a backfocus calibration issue and it's a fair way off. It is irritating me so much not being able to zoom in and check my focus then zoom out. Also the LCD and viewfinder on this camera are far from ideal for setting focus without being able to get in close, especially in bright sunshine.
Often with cameras I have used in the past, mainly Sony, there is a calibration setting for backfocus somewhere in the menu. It's a dead easy procedure but I can't for the life of me find the setting in the menu to run the backfocus calibration wizard on the camera. Does it even have a setting to do this? Or have they forgotten this?
I'm certain they won't have forgotten it I just need to find it. Is it in the app when using the camera over wifi?
Let me know if anyone has any ideas. It would be great to be able to sort this out in the hotel and be on track. The camera's images are great... when they are in focus.
Thanks all
