DVX200 1.71 Firmware Released

Looks like a minor firmware update for the DVX200 has just been released. The only thing that they list in the release notes for the update is the ability for the DVX200 to use the newly released AJ-WM50 wireless module.

The instructions, including the picture on page 3, are unclear. The instructions state: "Set the MODE SW to RECORDING side." Where is the MODE SW? The picture to illustrate is for a different camera.

This is confusing. I have the firmware downloaded, extracted, and on the root directory of an SD card. I am good to go except for the above.

Yes, as long as you have the update file in the root of your SD card then you are ready to install it. This is one update that many people will install but will never take advantage of the actual updated feature. I already have the Asus USB wireless device so this update is more of a formality of keeping up with the updates than something functional for me.
