dvx1ooa vs. dvx100b

I have to choose betwen 100a and 100b.The difference in price is around $ 530.Is 100b worth extra money?Help,please!

it depends on where your buying from. I bought my DVX from Sunshine Electronics on EBAY, and while it wasnt the most pleasant buying expirence they stand by their products. The cameras are sold and bundled in packages around $2500. I got mine with filters, a hard case, soft case, tripod, 10 dv tapes, and a full warrenty. The camera was not eligable for the rebate since the UPC was ripped off the box signifying it was a grey market..but still. Im a high school student, and I saved some money.
 
do the grey market cams work just as well? whats the whole story behind the grey market cam are they made differently or the same cam but sold under the radar sortof speak?
 
The reason I say grey market is because the company ripped the UPC off the box...so thats up to your interpretation. Panasonic would not honor the rebate. But yes the DVX has held up fine, everything was included in the box, and it was sealed. PLUS I got all thaose additional items. Would reccomend if your deciding between cameras but really want the 24 P.
