Hello,

I usually shoot with DVX100 AG in F2 "Flou" mode. By mistake one of the sequences of my last project was shot in F1 "classic" mode. I was wondering if some of you know the technical and visual differences between these two modes? This is for a grading in order to simulate the F2...

Thank you very much!

"Fluo" stands for florescent and is meant to produce the best image under those kinds of lights.

While the "classic" mode is something normal, a default standard look, if you will. Maybe even warm, but IDR.

The numbers you punch in to create those looks can explain the technical differences - but at the end of the day it's just a visual perception of pixels and the main differences people will notice are huge swings in contrast, saturation and major color shifts (like going from a WB of 3200K to 5600K).
