DVX102BEN Screen Grabs (Post with Magic Bullet Look Suite)

Here's 2 grab from a compressed output of my edit in FCP 5.1.2 (via Magic Bullet Looksuite). The model is DVX102BEN shot with 25p mode. Scene adjustment included (Detail -3, Chroma Phase +3, Master Pedestal -6, V.Detail Thin, 4:3 LetterBox, all other value default to 0).

Here's the small version of the footage. This has no particular story or proper storyboarding or pre-planning for that matter. I took out the DVX for it's first day out on a leisurely sunday afternoon with some friends at the park. I've set white balance on a piece of paper, set everything to manual and tried to shoot everything at wide open iris (I just want to try it out - I know it does not have to be this way all the time). This is an H.264 Decoded version from Compressor scaled at 320x240 (approx 17.79mb) @ a duration of 5min 32sec. I might have gone overboard with the CC'ed but that's part of my learning process. The last part (the time lapse trial which really goes wrong :-), I used the one-shot function on the camera and tried to manually trigger the interval every 30secs or so (this is the problem with the DVX100b (no interval function). Furthermore, I think a better way to shoot a timelapse segment would be to just record a continuous footage and do a time remap in your NLE.

Please let me know if you guys want the H.264 compressed bigger version at 640x480 (approx 60mb)

Stock presets or tweaked?

It's a tweaked Look Suite effects. I'll post them up here when I get a chance to look it up on my FCP machine. That's the only plugs I'm using to achieve this look.

thats a crazy look,

what effects are those?

That's Magic Bullet Look Suite (tweaked) and a little Magic Bullet Vignette. Everything else is from the camera itself. I'll post my Magic Bullet LookSuite settings. And I'm also trying to upload the whole video footage for you all to assess (as I'm very new to all these color correction things). I'll post the link here in a day or two.
