Im a short film maker from the UK and im packing a DVX100E. It has been serving me well over the past 2 years however i feel as though i am missing out with no 24p option.

Although we use PAL format i still want to get my hands on the A or B model, or being a UK resident should i just upgrade to HD?

The A or the B comes in a PAL version, just like your current camera. A new DVX100Be will cost you something like 2700 British Pounds, and a (HD) HMC41e about 1990 British Pounds.

So if investing in a new camera, consider that. The HMC71e is cheaper than the DVX100B also.

Not to mention other brands that I won't mention .
