DVX100BE vs. 25P Advanced

Hello Everybody

I'm new person on that board, although I've been reading it for few months already. I've just bought new DVX100BE (bc im based in UK) and was checking progessive modes, but couldnt find 25P Advanced? Is it hidden somewhere or PAL version doesn't have it? :(
please help...
 
PAL version doesn't have "advanced", nor does it need it. The whole 24p/24pa pulldown thing is there to accomodate NTSC. PAL users don't have to even worry about or consider pulldown, as it doesn't exist in PAL.
 
thanks... stupid me. hehehe i think i get now, should read more tutorials before asking... still do you think guys that having 25 frames instead of 24 makes movie less "cinematic"?
 
Not in any way. TV movies in Europe, even those shot on film, are shot at 25 fps because that's the appropriate frame rate for European television.
