Please bear with this question as it's a little different to some of the other very similar questions on this forum.
A number of people on this forum, and in fact throughout the internet, seem to be pretty concerned that the DVX100BE (Pal version of the DVX100B) will not shoot in 24P mode. I was initially worried about this too, but now I understand that the "P", meaning "progressive", is the important thing, as this means the camera shoots entire frames (rather than interlacing), and this is actually what gives the film effect.
But, importantly... many full specs I have read for the DVX100BE suggest that 24P mode is available IN ADDITION to 25P mode. Can any of the veterans here please clarify this?
