Was filming the other day when my dvx100b randomly cut off. I then switched the power switch to "off" and then back on. Still nothing. Then i turned it back to "off " and it turned on, like it was backwards. I turned it off and on a few times and it went back to normal, except that everytime it would turn on it would be out of focus (set on manual focus but the camera usually stays at the same focus when turned off and back on) and then after a few times of turning it on and off it turned off for good. A fried of mine told me that it could be from sweat, and since i film skateboarding there is a good chance that sweat got in somewhere. I opened the tape deck and let it sit for a day to dry out, and still nothing. I sent the camera off to be repaired, but I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and can give me an idea about how much I might end up paying for the repair...
