DVX100B - Won't Power On

Haven't used my DVX in about 2 years. I know it was working when I stored it away. Today I go to power it on via the ac power adapter and it won't turn on.

I did a search and found that some people have been having issues with internal fuses getting blown. Is there a diy option to replace the fuse or do I have to spend 200 bucks to get this thing repaired?

I know this may be of no help but...did you check the voltage coming from the cable?
try a battery?

I wonder if there is a reset button
for a "B" I find this strange since it is not that old.
