Why is it when I turn on my 100b I always have to hit the auto button to have good color. Compared to my dvc30 when I turn it on the color is great right away. Is there a setting on my 100b that will allow this to be like the dvc30.

I just want to turn on my 100b and have great picture right away. ???????

that was pretty vague, when i turn on my DVC30 the lighting makes all the difference in whether or not the color is good looking. it should be the same way with your DVX.

You mean all I have to do is buy a DVC30 and I can get brilliant looking pictures without having to learn how to operate it? WOW! I wonder why some people spent years learning how to light and how their camera work. What a bunch of chumps.

haha, No I just want my color to be automatic, because we do outdoor fishing films, I dont have time to tell the person to not catch a fish when it happens, auto is the only way to go. See what I am saying??? Any suggestions for my dvx100b?

if you want them to both match you need to set presets up the same. And what auto button are you pushing to get "good color" do you mean the auto iris?
