Hey guys, i've been watching this forum for a little while now and am thankful for all the input and ideas you all have.
Sadly now i have encountered a problem with my DVX100B and i was wondering if anyone else out there has had the same problem, or has any idea what it could be?
The Problem:
I have been filming with the camera, and recently i have been having problems with the playback of my footage. Sometimes i will watch the footage i just filmed and if i roll back too far, i cant access it again. For example, i just filmed something and the scene went from 11:32:25-12:21:04 in the time code. I played it back and when i rewound it i accidentally wound it past 11:32:25, where i was able to see the previous scene i had just shot, but i could not fast forward past it. It was as if everything past 11:32:25 had not even been shot, even though i watched the time code rewind. I tried fast forwarding, just pressing play, and even trying to go past it while capturing.
Yesterday, this happened again and i decided to take another take. The take was shorter than the original, and after the scene ended, the original "missing" scene was still playing. Even the time code reverted to the original sequence. (literally, my time code went from 13:23:11 to 13:05:30)
I hope this makes sense, because i'm finding it rather difficult to explain. Anyone ever encounter a problem like this? Any help is much appreciated!
Cheers!
