We have had our dvx 100b for about 6 months now, and have only really started shooting with it recently. To stress how new it is, we have really only put 5 hours on it. I have a basic understanding of the camera, and it films flawlessly. We are however, having one issue with it as of late. During playback sometimes we will get a star between the letters TC and the time code numbers on the top of the LCD display, and the timecode numbers freeze even though i can still hear the tape moving. This coincides directly with the video either showing up entirely blue as if not on at all, or when it does show up, there will be big blue bars running across the screen. It is not during every playback, but it happens enough for it to be an issue. Usually if I turn of the camera, switch out the tapes and, play the different tape, and put the other tape back in, it will usually play. However, if we tried to FF or rewind after all that , the star appears again, and the numbers freeze. We have tried cleaning the heads with the tape. no change... does anyone have any ideas of what it could be aside from the heads... thanks for any help
