I am attempting to capture footage and am having sound issues with playback.
The sound stutters — basically cuts in and out like an audio file that is loading too slowly. It plays a moment, then goes silent, plays another moment, goes silent again, etc. It does this with tapes known to be good, and is doing it a the camera/playback level, not the capture/save level.
I don't think the tape is dragging on playback because the video image appears to be clean. The audio, however, is causing quite a problem.
Any ideas of what may be happening?
