DVX100B settings are locked.

Anyone ever have the issue of locked settings? Only a few things work, but I can't change FSTOP, can't change the pre-set modes (F1, F2) it just stays locked on the default. I have no idea why it's doing it, but I tried new batteries, tapes, and can NOT figure out what's up with it. The Focus, zoom, ND filters work, audio level changing, OIS, but I can't change from 30P, 24P, 60i, anything. I can't change FSTOP, and it makes it a PAIN IN THE ASS to film.

Anyone have this issue? Let me know how you guys fixed it, since it's really important to get this fixed ASAP for shooting an online TV show.
 
Yeah, I have no idea what the problem is. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm pretty close to sending my camera back in for a check up and repairs (I have insurance), so we'll see how that goes, but I'm hoping there is a short solution to this problem.
