DVX100b Remote Question

[INONFILMS]

My question is...on the remote that comes with the DVX100b. What is the photo button on the top right of the remote do? As far as I know the DVX does not take snapshots. I looked thru the manual and did not find any information on it at all unless I overlooked it somewhere. Thanks

On page 18 of the 100A manual (only one I have close ), it lists "PHOTO SHOT" as one of the buttons which "are for functions which are not featured on the camera recorder." They're probably saving money by using the same remote for multiple cameras...

Thanks a ton..that was killing me trying to figure it out. Would be very cool if DVX had capability to take stills.
