DVX100b outside settings?

Ok I got the DVX100b last week. Yes there is a lot to learn,,,be glad to get the book and stuff.

But anyway it captures and all that so tomorrow we are going to make our first short. Best to learn by making some mistakes I guess!

But it would help if any of you might share a good file setting for shooting outside in the daytime in 24PA. I guess it is best to white balance each scene too. Thanks
 
yep white balance each scene - i'd just play with the scene files and see what looks best. being your first shoot I would concentrate on just getting a good clean picture you can mess with in post until you are more comfortable with the camera. Barry's book explains the scene files and the settings extremely well.
 
I don't have the book yet. I just got the camera on friday. Ya it will take some playing around with! It is not a point and shoot.
