DVX100b no longer w/ Barry Green Book & software?

I got my DVX100B from B & H in the end of Feb and was told it
would have the 45 min battery. And asked if I would like to get
a 5400ma as an add on purchase. I told them I thought the camera
now came witht the 5400ma and was told no, you have to buy that.
The sales person also tried to convince me it would much better
to have the 5400ma. I passed on the add on battery sale.
My camera came witht the 5400ma in the box.
It is a sales ploy.

My camera came with no panasonic letter inside and from reading other
posts on the rebate threads, I'm not alone on that.
If Panasonic is thinking of doing away witht the rebate in the near
future then it would make sense that they are not putting the note
into the boxes. If a product is on the shelf for a while it would have
outdated rebate info in it.
When I called the Panasonic Help desk 800 # (the rebate company)
I asked for paperwork for the book/dvd. they said they didn't have
any available. But that they would try to take care of it if I sent a
note with my $400 rebate form.
I was also told a lot of people don't know about the
book/dvd and if they don't ask for it they don't send it.
That would make me think that MANY cameras come without
the "Thank You note"
 
If anyone wants an unopened Book/DVD or Magic Bullet, let me know. $50 for book/DVD, name a price for MB.

i'm about to take you up on this gage. i've been waiting for my book/software for three months now, and every time i call to check on it, they say "it should ship next week."
