DVX100B Macro Lens

dont know much about this but from the looks of that it looks like crap. probably alot of distortion or CA( chromatic abberation) Dont put that crap on ur good leica lens. Look into century optics products.

but hey for 30 bucks i guess u can give it a try...just be prepared to possiblly waste $30

Not sure if there is a solution, buy from a camera store (B&H etc.)
If you can only afford a $30.00 to start, then use it (I have a couple, I will admit it).

It should not be too bad with the macro as you are in tighter and close for the shot. You will (should always) need to use manual focus for sure.

The cheapos do not focus well and have a lot of glare.

Saying that every lens from Japan is great, is like saying everyone from Texas is a cowboy. Most of the stuff is descent, but not something to use if you are getting paid for thd work.

I have that set. Don't use more than 2 or you will begin to see the chromatic abrasion. They are not the best lenses in the world, but they are cheap and they can get the job done if you use them right and they will help you learn how to use macro lenses. For $30, I say go for it.

I'd say go for the first one. Don't buy cheap filters, you will end up paying for it later. You can probably find the other accessories bundled for less.

Also, don't use AF while using a macro lens, it really confuses the camera and the background "wiggles" as the camera tries to find the right focus.

They seem to be the same macro lenses, but I recommend to not spend an extra $30 for the other filters included.
