DVX100B in low light situations and tri pod question.

Hello, I’m just prepping to buy a DVX100B, I just had a few extra questions that I needed clarity on.

I’m concerned with how the DVX100B performs in uncontrolled low light situations, I’m going to be in several. I here that when the DVX100a came out it was definitely a step back from the DVX100 in terms of low light shooting and grain. I couldn’t find a definitive answer weather the DVX100B actually outdoes the DVX100 or if it’s in the same ball park as the first in terms of low light and grain.

Also, can anyone direct me to where I can find a good tri pod for the DVX100B, my price range will be around 1 grand seeing how with tripods you really get what you pay for, or if theirs any tri pods for cheaper that are worth mentioning please let me know.

I’m thinking of ordering from EVS, everyone says their very reliable, allot of people also say that some guy Rush is apparently really good to deal with, is this true?

Thanks allot for the feedback in advance.

from what I hear Rush is the man and plus there is the dvx user discount but I think read where Rush is on vacation or a shoot i may be wrong. from what ive read the 100b is supposed to improved in low lite shoots.
