Hi,

I thought i would be able to solve my own problem of taking footage i shot with my DVX100B into Final Cut Pro 3, log the clips thru the firewire connected camera into FCP, and start some basic editing.
The clips, despite what i do to make sure the properties of the clips match the properties of the containing sequence (as described in the above url), STILL want me to do a manual render for the clips. Even just trying to scrub through the video timeline it wants a render.
Can anyone provide some insight into this. I've had this happen before, but forgot what i did. I promise i'll write it down this time!
Thank you very much for any help!
Russ
