DVX100b for sale: $1,000 shipped.

Mine cost, too. And they cost a lot of money ;-)
But in my country making an offer for selling an item is like making a contract. So the first one who is willing to pay the requested ammount of money has the right to get this good for this amount of money. I know things are different in the US ;-) but a mans word should be worth at least a few bucks...otherwise the credibility is lost...just my 2 cents...

:Drogar-BlackEye(DBG Not so fast. I'm American and if I promote something at a price it sells for that price. For example, I've got a Nikon D200 with battery grip for $900, body only, if you're interested.

I see your point. And it is mostly like that in the US also, but there is a free market thing going on here. He thought it was worth 1000, it was clearly worth more.

Would I have done what he did? - maybe. Is what he did wrong? I do not think so. He had an item ,he was forthcoming about it's flaws, he was only wrong about what people would be willing to pay for it.

Some could say that the first person to jump on a deal that is too low is taking avantage of the seller. Maybe the seller had no idea that what he was selling was worth more than he was asking for it.....That is what the free market hammers out. the "real" price comes out of the give and take between seller and buyers.

Now I like a good deal as much as the next guy, but I also like fair transactions from both sides.

I love Germany, Berlin is way cool, I was there in the 90s.
