hey. i have a really shitty samsung capture cam. when i use my tapes(sony premiums) from my dvx100b in my capture cam to upload video i see small glitches every now and then. Not very often just once in awhile. Is this because my samsung's heads are hurt? I dont think it is the dvx 100 b because there is only 9 hours on camera and i bought it new. When i playback footy on the dvx it is fine. But when i playback on the samsung it glitches. dont know.... It hasn't ever happened before.

Do you see the small glitches ON the samsung LCD, or on the video once you've captured it? What mode are you shooting (24P, 24PA)?? If it's just on the video after you've captred it, your capture settings may be wrong. What editing program are you using?

on the samsung lcd and on playback on the computer. I am using adobe premiere pro. It only does it on one tape. I was shooting in the dumping down snow (with a porta brace cover) so maybe the tape got damaged? All the other tapes i have shot with my dvx turn out fine. Usually when i rewind the tapes on the samsung and press play there is some glitches for a few seconds. i will try recording with the samsung when i get off work.
