dvx100b : autofocus problem??

i just bought a dvx100b 2 days ago and it seems that when i m using the autofocus in 25p (pal) with both close and distant objects to be shot, the cam doesn t know what to focus on, and it s focusing alternatively on objects very quickly.

it s ok in manual focus.
i don t need the autofocus in fact but i just need to know if my cam is broken ....

Can't speak to the 100b or the PAL version, but I know on my 100a, in 24p mode, there is no automatic focus -- there is a function called focus assist, and it's kind of slow.
