Can't believe no one is taking it. Hey, how much did that mod cost by the way? I should have done it when I had my DVX. I regret not doing it.

The mod cost around $2500, and was never available from Reel Stream for any less.

Setting the white balance and any adjustment to the camera's settings will show up on the image shown on the laptop. So ideally you would want set the white balance/adjust any additional settings you like as if you weren't shooting with the mod. Once you are satisfied, the real change is the LUT you apply to the image in SculptorHD. SculptorHD also has a control built into the software that allows you to calibrate the colors to your liking, eliminating the need to on camera. You definitely want to white balance on the camera first because once you have that set, you are then open to a virtually infinite amount of possibilities and changes you would like to make in SculptorHD and post production.
 
White balance is pre-Andromeda modification, in that the manual (and selecable) white balance settings affect what ever Andromeda sees. It is not done in software.

No problems. It would have taken much more than a few postings to explain the capabilities of an Andromeda system to a non-Andromeda user/owner.

That said - folks, I've just purchaced it from Bryan. Hope it gets here very soon, as a use has just come up.
