DVX100B and XLR mic issues

Hi,

I can't seem to figure out how to get my XLR mics working with my DVX100B. I've plugged them in, tried with and without mic batteries, checked the line and mic settings, but the camera still insists on using the on-board mics.

Is there something really simple I'm missing, or is there a problem with the admittedly, second-hand, but barely used, camera? At the moment I'm resorted to capturing audio into a separate device, but I've love not to have to worry about syncing it up afterwards!

Um, you know I don't think that I do - I'll check this out once I get home. I guess this is what comes of reading DVX100 book, but not owning a manual!

Doh! Oh, well at least it seems to have a simple solution - thanks! :)
