Hi,
A couple of questions please guys. I have the DVX100A with anamorphic adaptor. I'm looking at getting the Redrock M2 and was wondering:-

1. Does the M2 improve the image obtained from 25p (i'm in UK)?
2. What is the recommended lens for use with the camera? Do I get a zoom lens or different lenses?
3. Are budget lenses like Tokina okay to use?
4. Is it worth getting the M2 for use with SD? Or is it better to wait till I can pick up something like an HVX200?
5. Can I use the M2 with my anamorphic lens?
6. Does the M work well with the camera in progressibe scan mode?

Many thanks.

First let me say that if you intend on buying the M2 new, you should reconsider and buy the SGPro, it costs about the same (£551.70 including shipping and tax), AND is made in the UK. It has a better bokeh and image out of the box. If you want more info on it -> www.shoot35.com

Now on to answer some of your questions. The answers to most of them can be found by reading the threads found in the 35mm Adapter section of the forum. You should read them because they give you a better understanding of what you're doing. But since I feel like typing...

1. I'm not sure I get your question but it doesn't matter if it's 25p or 30p you're shooting. It doesn't 'improve' the image, it changes it. Your images can have a shallower depth of field.

2. You can choose between several brands of lenses, several lens mounting systems are available. A lot of people get the Nikon mount. What you should get are 'primes' zoom lenses are not used that often. For more information read Timur's thread on choosing lenses.

3. Get the best your budget allows.

4. Yes, absolutely.

5. nope, not at the same time.

6. Yes
