DVX100A with Redrock M2 question

I am in the UK and use the DVX-100AE and Panasonic AG-LA7200G Anamorphic lens with Chrosziel Matte Box and Chrosziel 15mm rods.
I have been very pleased with this and the BBC have used material shot with this set up. Now I am thinking of adding a Redrock M2 so that I can use Nikkor primes and when budget allows PL cine lens. As the M2 mounts directly to the fixed Leica lens on the DVX, I will no longer be able to use the AG-LA7200G. In order to stay in 16:9 format I will have to use the in camera conversion. Presumably squeeze is better than letterbox? If I use squeeze will the result be just as good as it would have been with the anamorphic lens or should I expect a lesser quality image?
It will be wonderful to produce drama shots with good DOF for a change without resorting to full telephoto.
Could you also suggest a source for a swing away cinematic style mattebox? Once I start using primes with the M2, I would like to be able to swop lens without having to remove the mattebox completely, as is the case with the present set up.
I have been looking for an 35mm adaptor for some time, having looked at the mini35 but being put off by the cost. All the reviews I have read about the M2 are glowing with praise and the cost appears to be very reasonable indeed.
I was on the point of ordering a Chrosziel follow focus unit for my present set up when I read about the M2. The cost of that would have been only £200 more than the complete M2 set up with HD adaptor, follow focus unit, base plate and 15mm full length rods!
I look forward to your comments.

well all I have to say if your going to buy a M2 you better not expect to receive it for several months if ever.

If you go with the M2, just buy knowing it'll take awhile for delivery. I ordered one knowing I shouldn't plan anything that needs it for awhile. Red Rock makes some great stuff, so it's worth the wait. In fact, Red Rock will be showing a matte box in the next week or so (I think this coming weekend), that I believe will have a swing-away feature. I believe the price will be in the neighborhood of $500.

Hey guys - just to clarify on the wait time. It's a build to order process, which normally takes 4-6 weeks. After NAB and winning the Mario Award, we were overwhelmed with orders. We are working hard to get them out as fast as possible, but it's true that some folks are over 6 weeks.

I do take exception to the "if ever" comment. We have delivered 100% of orders. But I can also appreciate the anticipation and anxiety of waiting for one of our adapters for weeks

Thanks

Brian
