DVX100a vs. DVX100

Ok im sure this has been asked before but here it is again. I just got $2500 and I have enough to get the DVX100 used right now. I really want to buy through Rush at Evs, but it will take about 2 months longer to wait and its almost $1000 more. Do you think I should wait to get the 100A new or just get the DVX100 used right now and get like a better mic and tripod in about a month or so? What are the differences between the two cameras? Any image differences? The only thing I know is the audio/frame sync is off by like 3 frames in 24p (or so i've heard.) So is it worth the extra thousand bucks for the new 100a w/ warranty vs a used DVX100?

I personaly find the upgrades of the DVX100a worth the extra bucks, especially the peaking funciton. As far as image quality, that is negotiable, I personally don't see a difference, but the 100a I have found to be able to retain more info in the highlights with the different gamma settings.
It really depends on how you want to use the camera. DO you need the extras? if you do, then you have your answer. IF they would just be nice, then you have to make your decision.

Yeah, I think I might just stick out the wait. I want the warrany and I want the features. I can deal with my gs400 for a while longer I guess. Thanks!
