could someone explain why the DVX100A has significant image quality and functionality than the 100P? Panasonic makes this part of their sales pitch to either buy the dvx100A or upgrade from the 100P. In their last ad in "Videography" magazine they state, "The second generation of this revolutionary 3-CCD camcorder offers significant improvements in image quality and functionality...enhanced 24p and 30p modes, improved color reproduction; new cine-like gamma curves, etc." Please detail your response to these statements by panasonic. Also, i have always noticed a greenish tint to the outlines of the subject even after adjusting scene file settings to try to compensate for this visual irregularity. According to Steve Mullen's User Guide , "Panasonic employed a green-offset technology to increase horizontal resolution". Could this be the culprit? Did they change this technology in the next generation?? I would love some educated explanations to these questions. thank you.
