Does anyone know if the HVX200 will be able to read 24p adv footage recorded on DVX100A tapes? the reason I ask is because I was planning on dumping my DVX100A before the HVX200 becomes available, but don't want to lose the footage I have recorded on about 20 tapes.
..should be able to read it fine.. but you shouldnt be using the HVx as a deck anyway.. just get a small camcorder to use for a deck.. one thats compatable with DVX timecode. you can recapture your tapes off that if you needed to then.
