Can somebody please give me the best settings for capture dvx100A footage in adobe prem. pro 1.5? I mean the custom settings for a new project (general/capture/videorendering/default sequence). Especially I would like to know the best audio settings when using two external (mono) mics, one on channel 1 and one on 2. Im a new user off the dvx.

In order to answer your question, it would be necessary to know what mode that you are shooting in. Things to consider include the PAR (pixel aspect ratio), frame rate, pull down method (if applicable), audio configuration (either 4 channel 12 bit 32 kS/s or 2 channel 16 bit 48 kS/s). With these you can choose the correct configuration for Premier's project settings. The configuration of your editing computer will also effect things like "rendering" depending upon where (desk top or external) you want the output to be directed.

I would set up your project as a standard 25P project (Standard 48 kHz), but I would add 2 mono channels (assuming that your two external mics are both intended as primary dialog sources) to the Default Sequence.

As for video rendering, if you don't have an external monitor, then set your Real-Time Playback to "Playback on Desktop Only".

Your capture settings should be set to default unless you have another DV capture device.

This should get you started.

Thanks voor the help!

Mono to 2 mono channels, but should I put Default Sequence/Audio/Master than to stereo or mono? And should I do something with Mono Submix? And Stereo and Stereo Submix?

If your final project will have a stereo mix, then you should have a stereo master. As for needing a submix, it really depends upon how you like your audio work flow to progress. I typically don't use the submix buss as I export most of my audio to Audition to do the bulk of the work and then bring it back into Premier when it is close to my final goal.
