Dvx100a scene files

Hey, I'm new to this site and my dvx100a (which I recieved today:) ). I know most of the camera and options. I'm looking for scene file settings that have a cinematic look to them. Deep colors and grays, but also the greens and red etc. stand out. Could anyone please help me out here? Also if you could give a brief explanation of what each thing is (chroma, master ped, etc.) I would appreciate it. I am purchasing the DVX book soon, so I can learn more about this beauty.

Thanks, I tried searching around and nothing would pop up for what I was looking for. Sorry if this is just another beginner flooded question.
 
When it comes to getting a clean image, these are the important ones
DETAIL LEVEL, V DETAIL LEVEL, DETAIL CORING get the book and DVD and its all in there.
