So two weeks ago Willoughbys had the DVX100a for $3150 plus the rebate. I was about to buy it, so close... but i didn't. Last week the price went up to $3400 plus the rebate. I called them to ask what the deal was. They told me "panasonic raised their prices, so we raised our prices." I was sceptical, and the guy was kind of a jerk about it, but whatever, I knew they didnt have the best customer to begin with. They're an authorized dealer and I just wanted to save a couple hundred in taxes and shipping. Now it's price is at $3600 and I may just wait to see what the 100B prices will go for on the street.
Those bastards. I guess it's just supply and demand. I shouldn't have waited until the last week of the rebate deal.... but still, those bastards!
