DVX100a - new user

New dvx100a owner, I use to own a canon XL2. I'm just checking out the hand book that the dvx100 came with. Seems much different from the XL2, anyone care to discuss what I should work on with the dvx100a.

Page 33, if you happened to get the DVD also there is a chapter on Frame Rates which covers Slow Mo.

Why have the XL2, I don't shoot green screen and the bulky-ness has its pros and cons.

I'm using a Letus Extreme, so with the XL2 it's only making it just that much bigger and with the Letus on the DVX it just about breaks the same size limit as the XL2.

With that being said I like the view finder and the settings tab on the dvx.
