DVX100a Music Video

Done on zero budget for John Thomas Griffith of Cowboy Mouth, song is his remake of Everybody Loves Jill.

Here's the music video, interviews, tech info, and thanks to, clips. All formated for iPod, but QuickTime player will play them fine on both Macs and PCs. This was the very last thing I ever did with my DVX100a before upgrading to the HVX200. Remember, it's zero budget, very rushed, no real time spent on it (like there would have been had I goten paid).

The production value looks decent. I'm just not quite sure why you chose the young girl to play the "Jill" role. The lyrics seem to be aimed at an adult "Jill", maybe I just don't get it. I liked the slide guitar work on the song though.

I used to shoot weddings, yes, but that was a long time ago...

Yeah, I wanted to do something totally different. But JTG had this idea in his head, he had the whole story worked out. The end is SUPPOSED to show that the little girl is actually Jill's daughter. I said the twist worked on paper better than in practice. But, he wanted exactly what he wanted, and got what he got.

Wasn't my favorite project, but, I figured, before it goes into mothballs forever, I guess someone should see it...

John's a pretty good guitarist, especially with the slide.

I actually wanted to do a song called Southern Girls off the same CD (Apple To Onions, John Thomas Griffith).
